Dear Friends!
car is a Citroen C4 B7 , head unit is the simplier radio with the little monochrome display
I'm sick of tpms. I pair the new sensor, set it up, but it doesn't work. I decided to turn it off for good. I turned it off in BSI with Diagbox but it still throws the error message. I delete the error, but it comes back after 50-200 km. Do you have any advice on where else to deactivate it?
Many thanks
Regards
Futee

Re: Disable TPMS C4 B7
When you say you paired up the sensor - you do realise that this is only part of the procedure?
You must first activate the replacement sensor with an exciter tool and then pair the sensor along with the other 3 or you will likely get errors. If you fit the sensor without activating it with an exciter tool, it will not be ready for pairing.
Sensors are supplied not activated to prevent battery charge loss whilst in storage. When the exciter tool is used it activates the battery, ready for it to be paired.
We can't provide advice on deactivating it as it's a safety feature and against the Forum's Policy.

Sorry I can't do that. We usually leave this to specialist tyre fitters or the dealers that have this equipment and I can't personally recommend a specific tool for you.
