Hi everyone, I 'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and can offer me advice please?
I've had my C3 shine plus (1.2 83 bhp) from new in 2021, it's been dealer serviced and is still under 20,000 miles.
At it's last service I mentioned to the dealership that when decelerating from 35/40 mph, the revs only dropped to about 1400/1500 and consequently the engine kept "pulling" me along.
If I dipped the clutch they dropped to normal tick over at 900 rpm.
When I braked the revs came down and the the sequence started again when slowing down from 35/40.
The main agents convinced me that it was a worn clutch and wouldn't be covered by warranty so I had it replaced.
However the problem still persists and the revs are a bit higher now.
I've read that the ECU on the C3 can be a problem sometimes and am hopeful that someone may be able to give me any pointers before I return to the garage as the car still has 2 weeks warranty left.
Thanks in anticipation
Trev.

Get it back and complain - get it logged as incorrect behaviour so that warranty should cover it whilst still in warranty if this issue has not been resolved and was not happening before.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

When slowing down are you changing down the gears and it is still keeping the revs up or is it keeping the revs up when only in top gear ?

Hi, I'm in the same gear, be it 5th, 4th or even 3rd.
If the revs are 2000/2500 and I take my foot off, the revs drop to approx 1500 and only drop really slowly until I brake.

You need to get the dealer to sort this ASAP before the warranty runs out. I have had this on a Xsara Picasso if I let the rpm drop too low for the gear but not in all gears every time. I can not imagine how a clutch problem could cause this.
