Citroen rely gear oil

Unread post by Heath65 »

So after a few days tackling the arse of a clutch change on my 2015 relay I’m now down to putting new oil in it, I’m pulling my hair out to witch ones right, online search’s give no definite results at all. So I’m up to 75W 80… now is it plus….GL4….GL5 or any if the above?? Again thank you for any help! Need to get this back on the road, self employed and going very skint by the day!!

Yes is supposed to be 75w-80 GL4/4+/5
2.9L if 6-speed
2.7L for 5-speed
I have various repair handbooks and wiring diagrams for C5 mk1, Xantia, XM, Berlingo and C3 mk1.
I have Lexia/Diagbox (Sweden) and Servicebox/sedre

IIRC the oil should be GL4 and not GL5 specification.
