Hello,
Today I had warning on my dashboard “Electric traction system fault:repair the vehicle”
It is the second time.First was a couple of weeks ago.
Been advised by RAC mechanic that I need software update.
After turning vehicle off and on again the message dissapeared and the car drives normaly.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Sounds like a job for your dealer to check and if it does need an update they should be able to do it. If still under warranty you would not need to pay for this.

There are various faults with these and they need specialist attention to resolve. Best to get the dealer to look at it in case there is a known issue.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Hello. Some guys on other forums said that backup battery might be depleted. The best thing to do is check on diagbox what errors do you have.

Thank you, guys. Software update booked for 19/06.The earliest available date. In fact this message pops up every 8-9 days. It happened yesterday again. Before that since 30/05 the car was driving normaly with no issues,no fault messages.Been advised to unplugged front and rear battery for about 30 min. Let's see if there will be any effect.

Did the software update fix this? I've had it a few times and also had it in for repairs after all power stopped working while on the motorway and pretty sure all Peugeot did was software update so want to check before I pay through the nose for something I can do myself

Hi everyone,
I got the same error as well. Has anyone found a solution to the problem?
