Hi all,
I've just finished a year long camper van build on a 20 plate Peugeot Boxer. The van has been stood a year on my drive but always started up first time when it need to be moved for various reasons. Yesterday I took it for a run to the MOT station, was driving lovely and it just cut out after about 3 miles. Utterly demoralising to say the least. I'm a mechanic and it's been towed back to my garage.
The scanner retrieves the following codes:
P1199-7B - Fuel Level: Level Too Low (it's not low, lots of fuel)
P16ED - Control of the high pressure fuel regulator
8877H/34935 - (no idea what this is, anyone know?)
305947H/3168583 - (no idea what this either)
16ED77H/1502583 - (no idea)
The fuel filter is fine
The fuel pump is fine
The fuel rail pressure sensor is fine
I have tested the fuel regulator on and off the vehicle and tested it - it works. And it actuates on the vehicle. The engine type is BNF.
The fuel rail pressure sensor has also been taken off and cleaned, and I’ve also tried the fuel cut off switch. Still, just doesn't start.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers!

Re: Peugeot Boxer Fuel Issue
What does the live data say? Fuel pressure on cranking, cam/crank synch, engine speed?
