For several months the coolant has been disappearing without trace.All the usual checks revealed nothing.I even resorted to removing the heater matrix as a possible hidden away leak, but that was ok too.
Today I found the culprit
return from the rad to the reservoir bottle.This had been rubbing on the aluminium aircon pipe near the front headlamp, drivers side.This produced a pinhole on the blind side which only leaked when the rad pressure was up.Previous cold pressure testing had not shown it up.
