My CX 25 GTI Turbo seemingly cuts fuel at high boost. If i remember correctly the previous owner mentioned that the wastegate had been adjusted to increase boost slightly. I would like to see if just adjusting the wastegate to original spec would solve the problem or if there is something else at play.
How does one go about adjusting the wastegate on a MK1 turbo?
Update:
The issue seems to have sorted itself by cleaning the air flow sensor. It no longer reaches too high boost.
