Berlingo B9 Starts But No Revs - Electrical Fault

Hi I have a B9 2011 1.6 Diesel multispace and over the past few weeks on occasion when i start it, it starts up and idles but it will not rev. Also noted when this happens is the rear dash illuminations (to light the clocks, speedo etc.) does not work when i have this issue. I have scanned the vehicle with a diagnostic tool but i have no issues. Has anyone any thoughts or experience if this???
