Citroen DS3 BSI FAULT - car not starting

Unread post by Erch007 »

Evening everyone - newbie so please be kind 😂

My daughters DS3 634 plate is not starting it has 3 faults on the error codes. BSI, Engine relay unit BSM and Electric Power steering -DAE. I’ve added screenshots for additional info too.
The battery health seemed fine in the scan but I’ve taken the battery out and I’m charging it up. I would have bought a new one but most places were closed on Easter Sunday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance

Those error codes don't look serious, consistent with a flat battery.

Let us know what happens after charging the battery.

Will do 👍🏻
Should have said one of the relays is chattering and then ticking after about 20-30 seconds. The ticking noise stops when I disconnect this plug.

Good morning all I charged the battery up overnight and it has made no difference. It still has the same faults on the reader and the battery has 12.5 volts

I’ve removed the fuse box and it looks really clean and dry, so I’m now thinking that a relay has gone?

What’s the thoughts people?

Hi all replaced the fuse box with a second hand one (new Citroen part is on back order) and the car is now running. Unfortunately the EM light has came on showing a turbo actuator fault.
When I look at the actuator rod on start up, it does move after a second or two and jumps. I’m assuming that the sensor may be looking for a particular position and it’s not getting the correct feedback?
Can someone clarify please and can the actuator be replaced without replacing the turbo?
