We have replaced the fuel solenoid in case this was the problem. The manual says there is a bleed screw but we are unable to find it and there is no picture in the Haynes manual to identify the place of the bleed screw.
We have tried start pilot direct into the filter and the engine starts. But we do not seem to be able to purge the system of air. We have examined all pies and cannot find any leaks. But without fuel circulating all around its not possible to check for sure.
We have tried pumping the rubber fuel bowl five times and then trying to start several times but nothing.
Any suggestions would be welcome please.

Re: DW8 Bleeding the fuel system
Loosen off the injector pipes at the injector side & crank the engine over till fuel starts spitting out pump the priming plunger as you do this. Tighten pipes up & try again.

Just nothing happening. we have fuel going to the filter and to the solenoid, but not to the injectors.
