Buzzing ignition

Several times in the last few days there has been a buzzing noise when I turn on the ignition. Is it anything to worry about ?
The car is an XM 2.0 turbo.

I'd take off the stering cowling and just double check that the main power leads are all ok and that there is no arching across the wiring. Had simalar on a Seat lighting switch, the whole car nearly went up in flames.
