Cheerful start

Unread post by Gibbo2286 »

to the day, postman brought a penalty notice for £100 for overstaying in the Home Bargains car park in Monmouth.
Contacted Home Bargains, they said "Don't talk to us take it up with the parking company."
As I was only doing a good deed by taking a disabled pensioner to their shop I reckon the have lost a regular customer, I won't be doing it again.

No Mick this one is called Parking Eye, seems they have installed camera timers on entry and leaving.
I've gone through the online appeals box ticking so it's just wait and see now but I believe the car park does actually belong to Home Bargains (Used to be Somerfields) so if the appeal isn't successful I'll be having a go at them.

Have a look at PePiPoo, they can sometimes help.
