The adaptive cruise control on my 2.0 B78 GPicasso has developed a fault. Instead of switching out and in as required when an obstruction is detected, iy switches out and goes straight to 'Paused'. Prtessing the button to bring it back in from paused produces a 'conditions not suitable' meassage (or words to that effect).
Anyone come across this / any thoughts ?
Thanks, MIke.

Re: C4 B78 Adaptive Cruise Control Fault
Could be a multitude of things because there are so many conditions that need to be met for the system to operate, any one of which will cause the system to refuse to activate.
Are there any beeps, warning on the display like a triangle with the car in and 2 lines underneath (Vehicle distance assistance fault warning lamp), or other messages? If not the ARTIV unit may be out of calibration if fitted.

Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Thanks for your thoughts Marc.
No -- no warning lamps on the dash and as they used to say on the IT Crowd, if you turn it off and turn it on again it works until the first detected obstruction -- which it apparently detects at exactly the kind of distance it used to. I'll plug in the Diagbox and see if it has anything to say.
Mike.
