308sw 1.5 hdi service countdown starting early

Our 2019 308sw 1.5 hdi has started to countdown for its service very early, what can cause this ? The normal service interval should be 12 months or 20000 miles if sooner. It has always been serviced by the Peugeot dealer (Pentagon Lincoln).

It was dealer serviced on 8113 miles on 16/5/2023. Then on about 10002 miles on 21/10/2023 it started to countdown so I reset it thinking the dealer may have not reset it. It has now started to countdown again on about 11944 miles 19/2/2024 so I reset it again and checked the miles to service which came back at over 18000 so it has not been given a low mileage between services. The car is on a low mileage due to not being used much during the pandemic. It is used for short trips but mixed in with longer 60 mile ones and some 400 mile ones.

First service 23/6/2020 584 miles
Second service 26/5/2021 1578 miles
Third service 23/5/2022 3785 miles
Fourth service 16/5/2023 8113 miles.

It may be worth getting them to check the maintenance schedule next time it's in as it may be incorrectly configured, but the service timings look ok for the services recorded.

Are you getting warnings about topping up your Adblue? 10,000 miles is about right for a refill.

It is not the Adblue, I last topped that up 27/9/2023 on 9902 miles and it was full then. The Adblue warning is a separate warning message to the service countdown.
