C3 emissions control warning

Unread post by DanniAgro »

Hello, this is my first post to these forums so I hope that you can help.

Two days ago the engine warning light came on during a trip, and my heart sank as I feared having to stop and be recovered. However as the light was on continuously, and not flashing, which the handbook says is an emissions fault, I drove back home and have just read the OBD codes with my non- Lexia reader.
There are two;

Permanent: Preheating Relay Circuit Relay not supplied and Plugs Supplied

Intermittent: Turbo Position Copy Signal Turbo Valve blocked

The permanent one is, I assume, related to the glow plugs and not related to the engine light coming on? However the second intermittent fault may be, as the turbo is presumably not working properly.
Any indication of where the fault(s) may lie would be a great help.

My car is a 2012 C3 Diesel DV4 engine.

Ignore the first one, that's common and nothing to be concerned about. The one you need to address is the Turbo fault.

I'll need the exact fault code and the VIN to provide accurate information. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
