Heater issues

I have a problem with my ds3 heater, it's working on (setting 1-4) ,but i smell something burning, and when I put it on full (number 5) it shuts off. Any ideas? Plz

I would get it checked out before it starts melting anything - have you had the blower motor control module replaced recently? If a non original component it may be of substandard quality, but certainly needs investigation.
