Hello,
I got my car without the original remote because it was lost and I always wanted to get the original flip-type key remote that came with it.
The car is Citroen C1 2018.
But the price seem quite high so I wonder if that's normal - 230 euros to order it and get it coded
How much does it cost where you live?

These can be made with universal remotes for very cheap (less than 20 euros), you can even get one that looks the same as the new C1/Aygo.
The remote itself is programmed to the car using a manual procedure so doesn't need any programming equipment. You can swap your transponder chip into the new remote. Or a new chip can be programmed with diagnostic equipment. I would recommend getting a spare transponder key though as if you loose your only key you cant program in another one through OBD unless you also replace the immobiliser control unit. You can do in on the bench if you remove the immo box.
