Intermittent issues with cruise control after gearbox change Citroen relay jumper

Unread post by pattap »

Hi all

As per subject relay/jumper 2.0 blue HDi from 2016.

I had the gearbox reconditioned lately. I got new clutch at the same time.

I noticed that cruise control would stop working randomly at times. I haven't noticed any pattern so far.

It shows as on on the dash but when I try adjusting the speed two dashes show where normally two digits representing the set speed would appear.

Speedometer works fine. I'm not sure if cruise control utilities different sensors which is positioned in the case of the box itself?

Amy help would be appreciated

It needs a diagnostic. There can be various reasons why the cruise control is deactivated by the engine ECU. Usually for safety reasons when there is a problem detected with something like the clutch control switch, the brake switch, something to do with the vehicle speed sensors or a fault picked up with by the engine management system.

That's why it needs a proper diagnostic to determine the issue.
