Need Diagnosis- Electric faults

Need Diagnosis- Electric faults

Unread post by funkydrummer90 »

Hey there, long time reader first time poster 😂.

Had my C4 coupe for 3 years, been great, it’s my 2nd C4 coupe and my fourth Citroen 🙈.

Anyhoo, I’m having a few recurring electrical issues and would be grateful if anyone could come out and plug in? (Not currently starting 😓)

I’m in West Lothian Scotland if anyone is nearby

Cheers
Will.

Have a look at our list of members who have offered Lexia / Peugeot Planet 2000 / Diagbox Diagnostics help if you haven't already seen it - link below:

At the end of the list is a link to a Google Map, showing the geographic locations of members and details. Just use the Private Message or Email links on the member's profile to contact anyone suitable.

Bear in mind, although we update the list as often as we can, not all members are active on the Forum all the time, so it may take a while for a reply.

Hi sorry, I’m new hoping this is the right way to post
I have an electrical fault with my c4 grand space tourer
It’s fine when you switch it on then after anywhere between 2-20 mins of driving it throws up faults always the same ones
First auto stop start fault, then cruise control fault followed by parking brake fault,
If you switch on and off the fault clears until driven again
CC Works until the fault light appears and the parking brake works but won’t auto release when you move off when the fault light is on
Has anyone any ideas

Cheers n advance

It needs a proper diagnostic done as these are all related. If there's a problem with the brake switch, the ESP system including a wheel speed centre then it will also affect electric the parking brake as the ESP controls this too, and of course the Cruise control functions will be disabled until the fault is rectified or is reset - until the next time.

When you get the fault codes pope them up here with your VIN.
