I had some work carried out at a Citroen specialist on my 2009 C5 2.0d 16v a while a go. After, the front suspension was sitting a little high. Long story short I only got around to it when I needed CV joint and suspension arm replaced and MOT.
Replaced OSF CV Boot & joint
Replaced NSF CV Boot
Replaced NSF suspension arm
Stripped front brakes rectified caliper sliders
Bulbs
When the work was finished, the mechanic could not get the height to go to position 2 & 3 (2 being normal ride height in my head) - As I needed it for work, he bypassed the front height corrector as a temp fix, but now it is sitting absolutely bottom although rock hard driveable. He told me he has not seen anything like this before and is at a bit of a loss?
The fault codes are C1142, U1118, U2118 & U2005
Any pointers would be massively appreciated.

Re: C5 2009 suspension or height problem
Well interfering with / bypassing the height correctors is a stupid thing to do to be honest and if they are a 'specialist' they should know better, so no wonder it is bottoming out...
The suspension ECU relies on the analogue data from the height correctors to set and maintain the height against the reference values hard programmed into the computer. If you interfere with this then the ECU has no idea what the height of the vehicle is at and therefore has not data to make any height corrections.
I can't suggest anything at this stage as I don't know what exactly he has done.
C1142: Front body height sensor fault: Open circuit or short circuit to earth (if he has disconnected it or anything else, no surprise this fault has come up)
U1118: Fault absence of communication with the built-in systems interface: No signal
U2118: Triggering (height adjustment receipt anomaly): Not characterised
U2005: Triggering (vehicle speed receipt anomaly): Not characterised
I suggest they've buggered up something when doing the work on the OSF wheel, which is where the BHI is and therefore could of damaged some wiring or connectors.

Thanks for your quick response Marc. I will have a conversation with him tomorrow. Too much of a coincidence that I get problems after he was working on that section in particular.
