resources for comparing diagnostc live data to manufactures or ideal specs?

Unread post by JonnyBell »

Hi.
Is there a way to access ideal specs/figures for live diagnostic data and figures? From PSA maybe?

My objective here is to have something definitive to work from when looking at my own live data and not just the various opinions from forums, videos and indeed differences in mechanics' experiences/knowledge.

That being said, I'm still more than happy to take advise from any keen members on here :)

Thanks

All the reference values are already shown where relevant for sensors etc in Diagbox when undertaking live tests.

Thanks. I don't have Diagbox myself, nor does my mechanic (he has some other think like a launch or snapon) and i'm not sure reference values are readily available on these units?

Is diagbox the only place PSA and main dealers get there reference values?

I want to be as clued up as possible to work together with my mechanic to problem solve.

There is no magic list of reference values. They are all contained in the official diagnostic software (Diagbox) that PSA technicians use in the dealerships, so that the information is immediately to hand when they are undertaking live tests and can see the reference values next to the live values which will of course change under different circumstances.

I am sure this information is available on other professional level diagnostic tools, but obviously I can't confirm this.
