Air recirculation only works when it is set to internal

Unread post by Mash-Hassan »

Hi
I have a citroen ds3 2012. The air recirculation button works for internal circulation. When set to take air from outside, no air flow. The fan still runs.

Are you sure? Have you set the climate control to Auto and then increased the blower motor speed?

If you are still not getting any air blowing after trying the above, then it is likely that one of the motors that switches the air intake has failed or the gearing has broken.

I have done all that was suggested and still no airflow. Where is the air control flap? Is it inside the car or under the bonnet?

Your air intake / pollen filter assembly is under the front scuttle on the front right side, but the motor controlling the air intake is in the front dash console to the right of the A/C control panel that has to be removed for access.

So check the pollen filters first
