According to the French car gremlin that inhabits my car, it is a hot summer day at 31°C. When in actual fact it's -2 out there.
It's playing havoc with the tyre pressure monitor and when I fold the mirrors in it throws up an electrical fault and disables the Eco function.
I haven't plugged Diagbox in yet, will get to that tomorrow in the daylight.
I was wondering if anyone could point me to the temperature sensor, I'm assuming it's in one of the wing mirrors? If so, is there a wiring diagram and or repair procedure for this?
I'd be grateful for any help.
Kind regards
Dusty.

Re: Outside temperature sensor malfunction
Basically if it's showing temperatures obviously wrong, you need to replace the sensor. There's no wiring diagram that will be relevant. The new sensor comes with, (in your case) a connector and you have to just replace it. There's nothing else to do.
(20) Exterior Mirror Temperature Sensor, part: 1614257880, £30.36
Just look underneath the external mirrors and you are looking for a dimple sticking out on one of them, which will be the mirror with the sensor.
Shown internally here as '9' after stripping the mirror to get to it.
