Help in deciphering the codes

Unread post by Thetrill »

Hello,
please help me diagnose the problem based on the error codes:

U1F67
U1F3E
U1F28
U1F36

The cruise control and opening/closing the doors with the remote control do not work.

All fuses ok.
Where to start your search?

Thank you and best regards.

U1F3E is an issue related to no communication with the telematic unit. (Configuration of the built-in systems interface, Electrical supply of the telematic unit, Earth of the telematic unit, CAN INFO DIV (Entertainment Information CAN), Electrical harness, telematic unit)

U1F28 is a Fault with absence of communication with the steering wheel switch module. (Electrical harness, Switch module at the steering wheel supply, Earth of the switch module under the steering wheel, CAN, Switch module at the steering wheel)

U1F36 is absence of communication with the service module or the independent telematic unit (Configuration of the built-in systems interface, Supply of the independent telematic unit, Earth of the independent telematic unit, CAN, Electrical harness, Independent telematic unit)

I don't have the first code, but it needs a proper diagnostic at a dealer or specialist with proper CAN testing equipment.

Thank you for your help.
Can you also tell me where to look for these modules?

These are just possible suspect areas to investigate, but the independent telematic unit on this model is generally located underneath the fragrance diffuser on the dash, so that trim has to be removed to get access to the unit.
