Citroen Dispatch Not Starting

Hi all. I stalled my Citroen Dispatch this morning on a roundabout. I couldn't start it again but managed to get it onto the verge.
Called recovery but they were in no rush. Tried a couple of times more and it sounded like the battery was weak. I left it for awhile and tried again and it started instantly. Have started it at least 20 times more and its starting straight away. Anyone have an idea what could have caused it to not start initially?

Possibly the crank shaft sensor is failing. These can start to fail when hot but once cool allow the engine to start again but eventually not even then.
