I'm new to this group and cars...
We recently bought a Peugeot 2015 Expert van to convert to a mini campervan/ mountain biking transporter.
Coming home from a holiday and slowing down for a sharp corner at the bottom of a hill and accelerating gently back up again from 30km/h, it felt as though the turbo kicked in and backed off in rapid succession and then threw an engine check light and put the van into limp mode. I could not see what error appeared on the dash screen as the sun was from the front and the screen log showed nothing when I stopped to have a look.
The limp mode disappeared once I turned the motor on again yet the engine check light remained all the way home. It still seemed to have the same power, the engine wasn't overheating and from this we continued homewards. On the last hill the turbo appeared to do the same and again we went into limp mode.
The local garage said I need a new turbo as he could hear that the bearings are close to gone and nothing really came up while he had his computer hooked up and took it for a test drive.
Prior to this we had a number of DPF error messages which appears to have been sorted out??
Any idea what is going on...is it the turbo or a DPF issue?
I am also in need of a turbo parts number as I cannot get to the turbo to have a look as it appears to be behind the engine.
Engine No: 10DYZF4023132
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Greatly appreciated if somebody could help me out.

Re: Peugeot Expert 2015 turbo issues
You really need to have the fault codes from the ECU to determine what caused the limp mode, it could have been under-boost or over-boost, or something else.
I doubt that the problem is a"nearly" failed turbo.
