Rubber bung

Just ad my K9 van serviced the day after i found this rubber bung thing on the van floor under the peddles anyone any idea were it may have come from i did have the pollen filter done so maybe something related to having the filters done thanks for any help.

It 's the air conditioning duct closer:

Have a look inside the glove box, see if there's a hole for the refrigerated air - that might be where it has come from. Some vehicles have a refrigerated duct to allow cooling of glovebox items and can be closed off with this bung.

Thanks for reply i have just looked and its come from the air con matrix on the drivers side looks like it ad been pulled out while doing the pollen filter i googled it and found a picture of someone selling a second hand matrix unit but until looking at the picture i couldn't see were it went it was looking at me straight in the eye.

That's it - I believe it blocks the duct where optionally on some vehicles there was a duct that routes to the storage compartment.
