Peugeot 3008 Bluetooth

Hello all, I bought myself a 60 plate 3008 Exclusive 2.0 diesel. I was going through the settings and a message popped up saying phone not connected. I went into the Bluetooth menu but the option to search for Bluetooth device was pixilated out and the other Bluetooth options didn't respond. Any suggestions where I'm going wrong? TiA
