Hey guys I'm having a few problems with my 2007 Xsara picasso and would like any tips on what to check etc.
Problem #1. No reverse lights. Neither side lights up when reverse gear is engaged. I have changed bulbs and done a cursory check on fuses but I couldn't find a fuse for spesificly reverse lights, anyone know what other fuse they could be under? Where is the sensor switch that tells the lights to light up and are they prone to failure?
Problem #2. Intermittent power window failure. I deliver mail so I have to open and close the window a lot. Sometimes after frequent use the window however refuses to move. It always locks up fully open or fully closed, never stops midway. After a few minutes of waiting it always resumes working though which suggests to me that there is a thermal cutoff somewhere that keepa tripping. Is this the case and can it be swapped in case it is just worn and trips too soon? This is the second Xsara that does this to me.

Re: Xsara Picasso electrical woes.
Reverse light issue solved it WAS a fuse after all I was just looking at a wrong fuse diagram as there seems to be several types of fuse panels on these cars, found the culprit from tge one in the engine bay.
