You need to completely remove the rear light cluster from the headlining to reveal the nut.

Detach the lamp (3) (at "a") using trim removal tools.
Detach the lamp (3).
Disconnect the connector (at "b").
Remove the light (3).

So use a trim tool where is shows at 'a' to push in the clips and gently lower I suspect.

You don't have this model then. Provide me with your VIN and I'll see what I can do.

Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Ok, so parts are showing a different type of light module as these have changed multiple times, but this is the one below and I've also provided an opposite side review so you can see where the trim clips are to be released which should help you:

pic light A.PNG
So I think it's a case of gently sliding in a flat trim tool at each of the plastic tabs and gently releasing them all the way round then pull down where the stud is at the top and where the guide pins are 90° & 270°. Just be careful of the thin connecting wires behind!

Hi,
Did you manage to get the light module off to replace the aerial?
I’m in the same position, have taken off the light module and removed the four bolts and two torx screws to release the base plastic but cannot for the life of me see how you remove the base as it is larger than the hole and you cannot access the aerial base without removing it?
Do you have to remove or drop the headlining to gain access and, if so, do you have to remove the seatbelt assembly to complete this?
My issues are no DAB reception and I have checked the radio unit and cables under the dash so am left with issues to the aerial base hence my need to gain access.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using a separate DAB aerial to feed the radio? They are available relatively cheaply. I believe that you will need one with a Fakra connector.

I've seen at least one post where the poster said that it was so successful that he decided to put the temporary aerial in a suitable position so it became his permanent aerial for DAB. Saves all that faffing around with the original aerial.

Hi, must admit I had thought of that as an alternative but I’m not so sure about the ‘stick on’ DAB type of aerial as my experience in the past has been that the reception from these is pretty poor?
Would really like to swap out the roof aerial for one of the same that works. I believe the aerial base is powered (amplifier) but am unsure where the power comes from i.e. fuse number?
There is hardly any information on the web about this aerial or how to get at it (remove the lining etc.) and the only reference I have is that my last 2014 B78 Executive had the MyWay unit with a similar roof type aerial and the dab worked without any poor reception issues.
Indeed I know signal strength is fine where I live as the DAB units in all our other cars work seamlessly.
I am getting some error messages on my LAUNCH X431 - B1505 Microphone 1 Input Permanent Fault, B1507 Aerial Input 1 Permanent Fault and B153D Digital Radio Aerial which I believe is pointing to the issue and I have checked the aerial all the way to the roof (Brown plugs?) and the continuity seems fine.
I wonder if anybody could help with some service detail?
My Vin is :VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] in advance
