Hi, and :welc: to the Forum.

You will not be able to buy a genuine Daigbox setup, as Stellantis only supply them to their people. However, the supplier that a lot of Forum members use is Easy Diagnostics.

They are out of stock and likely won't be getting any more of these clones. Soon to be replaced with something different, which we are awaiting details of.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.

Hi PaceY,
Welcome to the FCF. I understand your reticence in buying a clone without recommendation from somewhere but perhaps you could get one of the members with a working system to help you out. There is a list of such members and you may be able to get some help by PMing one of them. Good luck :-D

Anyone can buy an original Diagbox set directly from Actia - very expensive.
But there are also cheaper used original VCIs.

All PSA Service Hotline products are not only available to authorised workshops, but (with a few exceptions) to all fee-paying users. However, PSA requires appropriate knowledge and a suitable original VCI for the diagnosis. However, I have mostly read that the Chinese crackers usually work.

The prerequisite for being able to work "online" via diagnostics is
registration with the PSA service hotline
https://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/pages/index.jsp
and then the basic fee for Peugeot must first be booked and paid for 1 year - approx. 200 € per year for Peugeot only.
If you also want Citroen, it costs another €200 etc.

This basic fee also gives you access to the spare parts/general information/characteristics etc., but not to repair instructions, wiring diagrams and diagnostics. But for a corresponding fee - you can read about this there - you can access this data - the duration of access determines the fee. For example, the diagnosis of a chassis number can be carried out for 7 days and costs around €45 (token).

With the basic fee (200€) you also receive the activation key for the software - this becomes active after payment of the respective fee.

The V09xx software could initially be downloaded free of charge via the hotline. This has now been removed, as PSA customers already have the basic software and only need the updates. With MHH-Auto, it used to be possible to download the original software and then update it - the offline software is unsuitable as it contains modifications. Only a search will help. The PSA hotline may provide the link for new free users.

All offline software versions are not suitable for contacting the PSA server.

Since this fun is quite expensive, it only makes sense for independent garages that frequently repair PSA vehicles.

Greetings Wolfgang
