Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum, so sorry for any posting problems. My car is Citroen C5 2.0 HdI, model year 2008. The problem started last week, i was driving after work, stopped at my friends place, after one hour, i came back to the car, ant it refused to start. The battery is new, from the looks of it everythings in order, but when I put my key to ignition position, the dashboard just blinks as if ignition started, but then it blacks out, the seat goes back into position and car beeps to take the key out, when the door is open, even though it is still in ignition position. If you try to start the car quickly, the motor cranks, but for a second, and everything is back to beeping to take the key out. I've tried BSI reset, changed BSM to same code one, still same problem. Scanned the car before changing BSM, it showed that the ecu is not equipped, tried scanning second time while switching key positions, the fault codes were: P0215 Injection System Supply Relay Circuit (Stage 1) Open Circuit or Short Circuit To Positive Or Short Circuit to Earth. P1351 Preheating Relay Circuit. Relay Controlled and Spark Plugs Not Supplied. BSI 0401 Ignition Switch Ignition Positive Information Fault. And before second scan, the two faults was this: BSI 05FF Unexpected Re-Initialisation Fault Coming From BSI, and BSI 0401 Ignition Switch Ignition Positive Information Fault. Has anybody came across something like this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Citroen C5 2008 No Ignition, Doesnt Start
before I ripped out the immobiliser mine would refuse to start but would unlock the doors. I found if I put the key in and turned to first position and blip the key to lock and unlock a couple of times then go to next stop (ignition) and do it again then take the key out re-insert and it would fire up. Hope it works.

Re: Citroen C5 2008 No Ignition, Doesnt Start
Engine Fuse box most likely, which contains the relay mentioned (non-user-serviceable), but as listed below, check the obvious first, like connections and connectors at the engine fuse box to make sure all the connections and pins are ok.
Ignore the BSI reset fault (common) and the P1351 is just for glow plug / Glow Plug Relay and is not going to be causing the issue.
0401 isn't a valid code - so looks like something is missing from the code.
