You've put a lot of work and effort into the X7 lately Kenny, I hope you got a decent price to reflect that. I do miss mine, but after the third rack and limited mileage these days I couldn't justify keeping her. Mine sold quickly too - an Eastern European guy from London who had been wanting one like mine for ages.

Good to see you'll be staying around these parts Kenny :D

What did you replace it with?

Replaced with 4x4 as I live on a farm up a hill which can freeze over. Even the C5 struggled in those conditions

funnily enough Kenny, the reason I haven't used my X7 for a year was because I replaced it with a 4x4 honda thing, not a patch on an X7 but I live on a farm up a hill which can freeze over

I have no idea what my X7 is worth really, exclusive saloon at 170K . I had hoped for 1250 or 1500 but maybe not

Similar models (2010 mid spec with say 150,000 km) are on our largest car sale website in Australia for between $8,500 to $10,000 and tend to sit around for three to four weeks. Most of these cars have seemingly been owned by “enthusiasts” and are better cared for than run of the mill makes. The problem in this country is that knowledgeable mechanics are rarer than ashtrays on motorbikes and this scares off prospective new owners to the marque. Added to this is the recent phenomenon of older folk (and lazy younger) wanting the ease of entry and exit with an SUV not realising the saving in gym fees with a normal sedan/tourer.
