Despair!!

Greetings - I have a 2009 Citroen C5 X7 estate. This has been superb until a heavy vibration started from the front right. After changing the front disks ( to eliminate warping ), the vibration got worse! Checked the steering ball joints and wheel balance. Started to think it was related to CVJ/drive shaft - so decided to change the entire r/h drive shaft. Read everything I could find about how - but have stalled at the first hurdle! I realised that I would need Diagbox to depressurise the suspension - got one and have totally failed to get the software working.....VM workstation works - attached VCI has green light - but plugged into the car nothing! So I tried to depressurise by setting on low then jacking up o/s/f. All I succeeded to achieve was to pour suspension oil over the garage floor! Any suggestions would be gratefully received! Also, check by swapping wheels around, that your vibration is no due to an out of rond tyre or bent wheel.

Hi - thanks for the prompt responses! What should the suspension be set on before :

"If you don't have a kit, you can manually depressurise the front or rear axles independently, depending on the spheres you are replacing.

Disconnect the battery.
Raise the vehicle and support on axle stands, wheels free."

The suspension should be lowered to the lowest setting first to reduce pressure in the circuits. Then you can gradually undo the screws to release the remaining pressure.
