I just bought this car 3 days ago.
I smells like I get exhaust fumes into the cabin. First I thought that it was other cars arround me, when stopping at trafic lights. But now i think it's the car it self, at stand still when motor is running idle.
Beside that, it runs perfectly.
So what do i look for, at what do i ask the dealer to look for?
Thanks
Best regards
Lars

I had similar issue with C4 grand picasso where i found a small hole in the exhaust down pipe right after ad blue injector and where it connects to flexi pipe.. found the hole by spraying soapy water on pipe line

Yes, check for oil leaks or spillages from topping up the oil that have fallen onto the manifold exhausts, where the fumes are being sucked into the cabin air intake. Also check there are no leaks or pooling around the injectors.

Re: C5 III Exhaust Fumes in cabin
I took the engine cover of today, and there was some fresh and old spillage on top of the diesel filter.
I took it to the dealer, that could smell it when we opened the bonnet, and he rekognized that this must he fix.
So thank you for the advice.
Roger and out.
