heater fan on a xantia 1999

heater fan on a xantia 1999

please advise why the fan on the heater is not working all the fuses seem ok and where is the conector on the heater box , where do i get access

Does the fan work on maximum speed? If so the problem would not be the motor but the resistor.
To get access to the fan remove the felt trim below the glovebox, the fan is above, a large rounded black plastic assembly.
