were do i find this valve on xantia 1.9td 1996
is there a repair kit?

It's what 'normal' cars call a brake master cylinder.
It's on the end of your brake pedal.[:)]

just been for a quick look that looks like a very easy job (NOT) could the sinking be anything else sinks first thing of a morning without touching brakes raise car with lever and cr sinks again bit by bit with each press of the brake

Sticky height corrector......?
Put it into the search and you will find out all about them and how to lube up, easier place to start I think, but it does sound like brake valve[V]
