Temp sensor

Anyone know where the exterior temp sensor is on a 97 vsx xantia?
Just wondering,as on hot days when sitting in the sun,it could read 35 degrees,drive off,5 mins later it reads true at 28 deg.

It's hanging out of the rhs (drivers) mirror on mine...literally

That will be what looks like a screw cover cap then,under the mirror.
I thought it must be somewhere exposed to the sun,then when you drive off,it drops to a truer deg.My dads 406 is the same,shows a more realistic reading when driving.
