Replacement radio options

Unread post by Rivendell »

Hi,
If I were to replace my '94 Xantia LX radio, do need to obtain one which has steering wheel capabilities, or can I utilise any unit and just pretend the steering wheel buttons don't exist?
I realise that replacing the radio with a standard sized unit will require some kind of facia adapter, but I can live with this.
Cheers,
Phil

You can forget about the controls if you wish, quite simply don't connect them[:)]

You can buy an adaptor plate from halfords (may have to be ordered) for about £20.00 They look good too.

You can get the adaptor plate more cheaply from your Citroen dealer than Halfords.
