Just put the old C5 through its MOT and the tester has reported that the steering column is loose. I believe I know the cause. On the column there is a yellow plastic collar that fits around the column just above the column tilt clamp. Part of this broke about three years ago. Trouble is I can't find a replacement apart from buying a complete column. There is no part number listed. The item can be seen on the picture.
Any help would be appreciated. Mike

As you say, these are not sold separately an looks to be a bespoke part, so I don't think you're going to have an option that would work, as sticking it back isn't likely going to fix it.
