This may sound a strange question but does anyone know how to set the ECU to "emergency get you home" mode

Unplugging a sensor would probably do the trick, like the temperature sensor, or the such like. Question is...why?

You still have to drive it, you know !
A Chauffeur doesn't suddenly burst out of the drivers airbag !
