Re: Factory fitted options
Hi Dylan, sorry but that's not doable from our end. The reason being is that sales brochures only contain the options for the specific models and trim levels at a given time in the year. These change frequently and what may be standard in January, may be an optional extra 3 months later. Then they often change the option packs and what equipment is included in the option packs.
So the only way you are going to know what was what, is if you had the exact brochure for the exact time when the car was ordered, and as one of your DS3s is a 2010 model it's unlikely you will be able to get a brochure for that year now. I know some people grab these up regularly then sell them on ebay.
But here is a link to a 2010 DS3 Brochure on Citronet. Not sure which month this was, as there could of been 2-3 produced in a year with different packs / Options / Trim levels, but it may help.

Here's a 2015 one:

Re: Factory fitted options
Yes, they change frequently because of competitors, price increases, shortage of components for some options, (especially for later cars during / post-Covid with chip shortages), so some things that were standard on one trim became optional when they changed the trim levels or moved them into option packs. Even the Option packs change throughout the year.
Take Connected Navigation on July 2023 + models; map updates used to be free for life, now it is all subscription only after 6 months free!
Edit: Details seem to be changing all the time:- it seems that the basic map features will be updated free, but the connected live services will be included from 6-12 months as part of the 'Connect Plus' service from the vehicle's warranty start date, then will be a subscription service only.

Yes, so the solution is simple - use Apple CarPlay with a good mapping app like Sygic which is free, or use Android Auto, similarly with one of their apps. Even though my maps are free for my vehicle, I find the Sygic ones are far more up to date and I get fortnightly updates. There are loads of apps to use like Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps and of course Sygic amongst others.

Just downloaded Sygic, looks impressive. Will give it a go when I get my car back.

Re: Factory fitted options
The main reason why I changed was that my 3 year subs ran out for live traffic info and also that the Tom Tom maps used by Citroen, DS & Peugeot were so out of date that is was ridiculous with the 20 MPH limits we have here. The Sygic App had these right straight away, so a no brainer. I thought it was worth paying £14.99 for a year for the premium features, although I don't need all of them, the live info is useful (https://www.sygic.com/what-is/premium-subscription)
It does have a problem with roundabouts though, as in it says "at the road circle" , but I guess this is literal as not everyone calls them roundabouts and the app is universal.

Re: Factory fitted options
I'll see what it's like when I get my car back and then make a decision whether to stick with Waze or change to it. I still have TomTom for another couple of yrs which i use sparingly, i find it far easier to type all the details into the phone rather than going through the touchscreen.

Re: Factory fitted options
If you use it with CarPlay it's quite easy to search and much quicker I find than the factory system.
I still get Tom Tom maps, - they are free for life, but the connected services (live traffic info, car parking spaces, fuel prices, radar alerts) are all subscription based on mine after 3 years - but I can get all these and more from Sygic Premium for £15 a year v the £95 Citroen want for a sub-standard out of date service. Not once did the speed cam or radar service ever work, and it never identifies hot spots, yet alone give the correct road speeds on many roads where I am, as you'll lucky if you get one map update a year.
At least there's plenty of alternatives and options for Apple and Android.
