Hi everyone
Need a little help
207cc 1.6 think it’s the thp engine
60000 miles
Full history
Runs great loads of power starts fine ticks over fine
The issue is this
Leave the car ticking over and touch the accelerator pedal and I mean just touch it and the car feels like it’s dropping a cylinder.
It ticks over at a steady 800rpm if I read enough to rec to 850 rpm so a fraction it feels like it drops a cyclinder rev past 1000rpm it’s fine.
Help lol

Re: Weird problem
It needs a proper diagnostic done and any fault codes put up here along with the VIN. Otherwise it's guesswork.

Re: Weird problem
It’s been plugged in and no fault codes logged no eml on either

Re: Weird problem
Rather than just checking for fault codes, values from sensors need to be checked to make sure they are normal, such as the accelerator pedal output to make sure its value changes smoothly as it is pressed. If you need to pay Citroen to do this, it might be cheaper to correctly guess which part may be faulty such as the pedal - however it can be costly if the guess is wrong.

Re: Weird problem
But that won't help at all if the two tracks in the accelerator pedal are not consistent in their data outputs when compared. Any fault between the two tracks is flagged up straight away. A fault code would tell you this and take the guesswork out of it. That's why we have fault codes....

Re: Weird problem
Ok the only other issue I can see is a negative 18 on the short term fuel trim. Any idea if that would cause the issue and would cause it
Thanks
