Hello
I am hoping someone can help with a filling quantity for diff oil for a 1997 Peugeot 106 1.6 Auto. My mechanic at work has drained the old oil and he said it seemed to be very little that came out so we are unsure. He seemed to think it would be 1L, but it seems it could be as much as 1.6-1.8L. Anyone know where I can find the capacity?
I am draining the gear box oil as well as had to change a driveshaft oil seal and figured it was due some new fluid anyway. That part is easy as there is a dipstick (first time I've had a dipstick for gearbox oil).
Thanks in advance.

It seems gear oil lubricates the diff. Transmission fluid does the auto box. Spoke to a guy at Peugeot and he confirmed it needed .8L so that's what she got. Auto box is shifting nice and smooth now. Thanks for the reply.
