AL4 Auto Transmission Manual Mode

Hello people,
My C4 (2006 1.6 16V) is not engaging manual mode. Other positions are ok. I have noticed a tiny magnet around the selection lever and took it off because I thought that it was dropped from somewhere else. As far as I understood from the technical documents, the manual mode is enabled by this little magnet. It should be located in its own place. Is there anybody who can look for this magnet’s location in his car and show me with a picture? It seems to be stick on the lever itself but I need to know the exact location. Thanks so much.

Strip the selector block down.

The magnet is on the selector shaft and the Hall effect sensors are on the bottom of the Printed Circuit Board, at the back of the selector block.
The sensor PCB can be unclipped from the block to get a better look at the magnet.

@ozvtr thanks so much. Actually I’ve noticed this hole. Even tried to place it there but the place is larger than the magnet itself. I will try to put it there in some manner. Pictures are really helpful, appreciate your help
