Re: Battery removal
thank you for that for the reconnection do i follow both stages also the operate Central locking several times is that locking and unlocking procedure
For standard vehicles, switch on the ignition only with the key, don’t start vehicle yet and check ignition lights come on.
For standard vehicles, with the key still in the ignition and within 10 seconds of switching the ignition on, hold lock button on key fob down for a few seconds (to synchronise the remote fob). Repeat this part for any other fobs if required (especially if the battery was previously completely flat).
Switch off ignition, remove key through window, then operate Central locking several times.

Re: Battery removal
Mine, (C5s) was slightly different. Turn on sidelights for half a minute, turn them off again, ignition to accessories for half a minute, turn off and repeat then open the door, sit in the car and start the engine.
Only once did I have to reset the windows, never had to do the synchronising performance with the keys.
In theory reset the radio stations but I just ignored that as I don't use the radio.

Re: Battery removal
Could be worth adding in the procedure to make sure the gears are in neutral before reconnecting the battery.
