The airbag pretensioner fault error message and light come on most times when I get in the car.
It is caused by the airbag loop wiring under the drivers seat.
My wife is short, I am taller, so the seat is being moved backwards and forwards every day.
When I undo the large yellow clip and re clip it, with the leaver that holds it in place, the error doesn't display until i guess the seat is moved around.
Anyone had this and resolved it?
It sounds like a new wiring loop or clip is needed, but it looks like a fiddly Sunday afternoon job which will make me swear and could lead to other issues if i get it wrong...
Cheers

Accidentally drop something at the front end of the seat track to limit its movement, a pen works as it looks innocent enough.

Not sure what the pen does as it's me that moves the seat backwards when I get in, however I did fix it, but using one of those cheap rubber wristbands (like the Lance Armstrong cancer ones) to wrap around the connects and pull them together tightly.
Thanks
