Miffed at my MAF!
Hello all. I have a 2005 Berlingo Multispace, 1.6 petrol. It has just started to stutter and stall, mostly when accelerating in first gear, but affecting all gears. Whenever I rev, it seems to want to stall. It gets really juddery when idling. The engine warning light has come on too. I previously had a 2litre HDI Berlingo and had exactly the same issues, which turned out to be down to a knackered MAF sensor. Based on the issues I'm having with my petrol model, could it be the Maf sensor? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks. Tony.

Re: Miffed at my MAF!
Best way to check is to unplug it, it's as simple as that

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Miffed at my MAF!
It needs a diagnostic. This sort of behaviour is common to a air / fuelling fault, but you don't want to be replacing parts without a diagnostic being done. If you can get that done then pop the fault codes up here we may be able to give some pointers.
