New C5 (X7) , New things to solve (Economy Mode & Juddering)

Well, after some "silence" from my side in the forum , i ended trading my beloved '04 2.2 C5 for an 2011 X7 2.0 Hdi 163.
As expected , there's no perfect second hand c5 without some care , and here i go again on the next crusade

Just took it home (as spare time has been scarce) , but already realised 2 issues:
There's some difficulty maintaining low speeds (it judders while attempting it , at low throttle) and it enters in economy mode too quickly.
Wasnt also happy to discover that on the 2011 model they eliminated the 5w presence lights. I already had the "best leds" to put there and it would team up great with the led drl...

Any clue on what may be causing the nervous behaving at lower speeds?

Connectd diagbox and no relevant gremlins there. Just a slow start code, and that may be due to old battery that was swapped already to a Varta.

In DIagbox i could see that GEL battery was selected , but i decided not to mess with that.

By the way... Is debadging possible in the X7 without any holes from pins in letters?

Apart from the front bonnet chevron chrome, the rear and side badges are adhesive as far as I can see.

Only today will have more time to ride the machine, so later on i'll be able to report better on the Juddering at lower speeds.
Did a clean in the interior earlier on and as it was so easy to access , also cleaned the MAP sensor , let's see how it goes.
Talked with a friend who suggested that maybe the diesel filter can provoke the juddering. Maybe next week i change it - it's never a bad idea when we dont know when it was changed. Eurorepar filter may be a good option? Or there's better options at better prices?
Will also put some premium diesel , as it may help to clean the injection system.

After a bit more than 100 km with it , i have already a better idea on how it is.
Behaving very well for the age and km that have , but i feel it could benefit from some new spheres (specially in the rear) , now with 12 years.
Probably needs also to change the thermostat, as it seems to be less stable on temperature than what i'm used.
The best description on the juddering at low speed (20 - 30km/h) is that the accelerator has a small initial area that starts in a step instead of a more initial smoother gradual acceleration. It could be a matter of a defective potentiometer... Will compare the values in diagbox, to the other X7 that i use to work.

An upgrade on the C5: Got some extra stopping power with this new front Brakes, Brembo Xtra.
Braking fluid was changed for ATE TYP200
Also have some more material to install soon.
A good tip i can share with you is when going for aftermarket parts, Meyle HD seems to be the ones to choose, as they are reinforced. Unfortunately not all parts are available as HD.

Thanks. The purchase was in 2023, but has been a constant battle to make it better and repair the small bits that have gone wrong over the years of usage both from previous owner and me.
The idea was to keep this post as a record from what i've been doing since i got the C5. Hope that sounds as a good idea.
The interior lighting would be great to have. The space is there... Maybe one of these day some leds go to there, as que original ones are difficult to find nowadays.

I noticed a few judders shortly before one of my injectors failed- short circuit. I too had an overactive economy mode despite replacing battery, but it seems to have gone since injector replacement..
Made me wonder if the low resistance of the bad injector was drawing too much current and triggering economy mode?
