2015 C4 grand Picasso diagnostic question

afternoon everyone ... newbie to the French car scene here ... does anyone know the difference in control units for the wipers MOTEV_UDS and MOTED_UDS and how do i find out which one i have ... what do they mean??
also ... the same for the instrument cluster panel ... COMBINE_UDS or CIROCCO .... ??
trying to do a diagnostic read and the machine is asking for this... it knows my vin and ECU module ... but just need to know the answer to this. Would love to know (and before anyone states the obvious i did try Citroen main dealer ) .... Thank you

These are the French Codes for the specific modules in your vehicle and are not generally used to refer to components.

As for the wiper motors, there is s separate one for the right and left hand side. One is a master and one is a slave. So the Diagnostic may be referring to each one most likely which could be why you are getting both units returning under a diagnostic. They are not the same and LHD vehicles and RHD vehicles have different parts so are not interchangeable.

Thanks for that ... i do understand that the diagnostic machine is asking what module i have in my car as it did for the initial set up when it asked me what main ecu module i have got ... that was easy to find as it was in the engine bay .. how do i know what module i have for the instrument cluster (where is it so i can read the label) and are you saying there is a different module that controls each wiper arm? did i understand that correctly? so on the diagnostic i can just choose whichever one .. thanks again

Diagbox shouldn't need to ask anything as it should know from the diagnostic communication with the ECUs on the vehicle. however, if your version of Diagbox is too old then it will not have the correct software to identify the modules, so likely needs updating.
